The trains from Beijing to Xian start from Beijing West Railway Station. The train routes include T151, T55, T41, T7, T231, T75, T69, Z19, T27, T43 and 1363. It takes about 11 to 13 hours to reach Xian. Of course, you may fly to Xian from Beijing CapitalInternational Airport.

From Beijing to Mongolia, there are international trains.
K24 (Beijing-Ulan Bator): Leaving from 21:35 to 14:04 the next day, every Friday
K23 (Beijing-Ulan Bator): Leaving from 07:45 – 13:20 the next day
Also you can fly to Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia.
