The first emperor Ming Taizu is named Zhu Yuanzhang. Zhu is the surname of the Ming imperial family. He is an ordinary person, but he was very ambitious. As one of the objectors to the Ming Dynasty, he succeeded in seizing the imperial rights from the Ming emperor's hands.
At the very beginning, the capital city of the Ming was set up in Nanjing, called Jinling at that time. Later, the Emperor Ming Chengzu (Zhu Di) moved it to Beijing. During the reign of Emperor Ming Chengzu, Chinese navigation on the sea was powerful. The emperor asked Zheng He to visit other countries by ship. Zheng He took along tea, silk, porcelain and many other Chinese products to go abroad.
