About:Chinese Consulate in Perth

Dear Ms Lilian
I have a problem with getting a 12 month multi entry Visa to China .1.I live in the USA on a Visa and when I apply in the USA they wont give me a 12 month Multi entry Visa as I am not a USA Citizen so they will only grant me a 2 entry visa and tell me to apply in Australia.2.So I send it to Brisbane last week to apply for a multi entry visa and they wont accept it as I live in the USA ? and tell me to apply in USA
3.Before the april 2008 rule changes I could easy get a 12 month multi entry visa in Hong Kong and have for many years get a 12 month multi entry visa ? Now you need a Hong Kong ID (If you are Australian )to get more than a 2 entry Visa .I spend almost 5 months a year in Hong Kong and manufacture a lot of products in China and need reasonable access to the factorys in China that I work with everyday .I have paid almost USD$100 per double entry and have bought over 10 since the rule changed as well with the cost of waiting 2-3 working days for the Visa and losing 1 page everytime seems unfair.
Please help as it has been very hard to understand .
Sincerely
Peter

Mr.Peter, it is also hard for me to answer you because it is the policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the China. Chinese government make the qulification of visa issurance more strict than before although the Olympics had passed. It doesn't restore the visa policy to its previous state.
