About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

I need to renew the passport , i work at malaysia the passport due 15.aug 2009 and visa due 26 jun 2009, can i do the passport at embassy china in malaysia? why the ducoment need ?where department do? how long can get the new passport?

Take your original and copy of your passport, three photos, your Malaysian residence permit to the embassy.
The processing time of passport renewal is one month.
