About:Chinese Embassy in Spain

Hi, I am an american tourist here in spain, who found a job on the internet in January. The Chinese company is arranging my paperwork for my invitation letter and my foreign expert work permit. They have told me to go to the Chinese Embassy to get my Work visa, however I am not a Spanish Resident....only a tourist. How can I get my Chinese work visa without returning to the USA and without having a Spanish Residency card?

I think you can apply for a Chinese Z visa in the Chinese embassy in Spain as long as you have a valid Spanish visa. Oh, can you apply for a residence permit in spain if it is not a troublesome task?
