We are going to Harbin this weekend and understand that the 9th Feb is the Lantern festival.  I live in China, but this is my first trip to harbin and it would be great to know if there are buses you can take to get to lantern festival (where is it?) Ice sculptures & snow sculptures. Also can anyone recommend a place to eat that serves good local food?Xin nian kuai le & xie xie nimen!

Usually, Harbin will have fireworks in the Sun Island and lantern fair in Zhaolin Park where you can also admire the ice and snow sculptures. Bus No.88 and 29 can take you to the Sun Island. Zhaolin Park is in the center of Harbin downtown, being the principal venue for the Ice and Snow Festivel. Take bus 103 or 63 to get there. Hope you enjoy your days there!
