Mr. Chau (China),
I have to apologize for the people of this country... we can be so stupid at times! I'd just like to say on our behalf that some of us DO have smarts. My college class is studying the Han Dynasty this week. We were asked to write an essay discussing the achievements from the dynasty. I came here in search of inspiration (I feel my text book lacks enough details to effectively write an essay). Seeing as you are in/from China, I hope you will have the answer to my question. I know the Han Dynasty is responsible for the first accurate calendar, but was this calendar based on exactly 365 days or on a close estimate of this?

Yes, since the Han Dynasty, the calendar started to be based on 365 days. But before the Han Dynasty, China used the calendar of 366 days.
