About:Guangzhou Transportation by Air

I'm wondering how long it takes to get from the train station (east) to the airport. Also, does anyone know how long the direct bus ride from Hong Kong to Guangzou is and where in Hong Kong it picks up? Do tickets need to be booked in advance?

I'm not sure where in Hongkong you wanna start your journey. If you are in the city, go to HungHom station and take the Intercity train to Guangzhou. It is about 190 HKD or 230 HKD (ordinary, deluxe) ... The ride takes a little less than 2 hours ...

If you start from HK airport, ask the staff. They should know it and usually speak a good english. But as far as I remember it is just outside of the Terminal building on the left hand side ... Do not mix up with the HK local bus departure site.
