A little knowledge: Yu the Great is the founder and first ruler of the Xia Dynasty. There was a total of 17 rulers throughout the Xia Dynasty, under the hereditary system instead of the abdication system. In other words, the throne was passed down from dad to son, all the way to the last ruler, a tyrannical one, known as Jie. Ending the Xia Dynasty when he was destroyed by the Shang ruler. :D
