The Prehistoric Times of China has a very long time span. The social forms of this times include primitive society, matriarchal society and patrilineal society.Primitive society, i.e. the early and middle periods of Paleolithic Age. The people, or rather ape men, used crude stone tools. The skill of artificial fire was mastered by humans. In matriarchal society , ie.the late Paleolithic Age, advanced stone tools appeared, such as stone needles and tools with holes. People can use stone needles and animals' furs to make clothes. Then, China entered the patrilineal society about 4000 years ago. Pottery, bronze ware, silk and many other things relating to agriculture came into being.
