About:Visa on Arrival

Is it applicable for Indian passport?

My friends and I are planning a trip to Hong Kong and Shenzhen. We have heard about the VOA service and are planning to visit Shenzhen as well.

I wanted to know if Indian passport holders are eligible for this service. Could you please provide some information?

Indian citizens are technically and formally eligible for 5 day Shenzhen VOA, but since we lack relevant and reliable feedback on the subject (the success of the Indian citizens on obtaining a Shenzhen VOA), I would be quite cautious because a rejection is quite a possible outcome. My recommendation for you would be to postpone your visit to Shenzhen or to obtain a Chinese visa in advance. I would not suggest you to risk a rejection when you apply for a VOA at the border crossing. I hope this helps.
