Immigration At Shanghai

Hi Barbara: Good morning and thank you for your reply. If we make one booking with 4 names, will this cause problems at immigration when we arrive at Shanghai Airport. I believe it will have two immigration lanes such as one for tourist with visa and one side for tourist without visa. If our booking with 4 names, will they ask us where the other two visitors are.
Also my son and I will apply for tourist this summer, we need to submit the booking with visa department. Will they question us where are the other two?

You just tell the fact that you are traveling with your family members who use the 240h visa free transit. You may make explanation about the hotel booking when you submit your application and if your son is minor, then his birth certificate and parents' valid passports are needed then the officer can know you are the parent.
