Alex, you can do that under the following conditions:
- Your departure from Shenzhen airport has to be to a third country or eligible territory (for example to Taiwan).
- Your stay in Shenzhen has to be longer (at least for a minute) than 24 hours counting from your scheduled departure from Hong Kong West Kowloon station until your scheduled departure from Shenzhen airport to a third country
- At the time of your arrival at Hong Kong West Kowloon station (please, be there 2 hours or at least 90 minutes ahead of your departure because both Hong Kong and mainland China formalities are performed right there), you should have your flight from Shenzhen to a third country already booked. Please, have it as a printout or at least as a screenshot.
If you do like this, you will be eligible for 240 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. I wish you a nice journey.
