About:China Visa

240 hour Visa

I'm UK passport holder and just need clarification as too whether i can travel on the 240 hr free visa or would I need a visitor visa.
Below are my travel details

11/4/26 Fly into Beiijing from UK
11/4/26 to 15/4/26 Hotel stay in Beiijing
15/4/26 Fly to Shanghai
15/4/26 to 18//4/26 Hotel stay in Shanghai
18/4/26 Board cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas
19/4/26 1st port Jeju South Korea
21/4 - 23/4 cruising around Japan
23/4 Last port Hakodate Japan
26/4/26 Arrive back in Shanghai flight back to UK transit stop Beiijing

I understand that on my return journey that I can apply for a additional 240hr visa at the Port of Shanghai.
Your help would be greatly appreciated

No, you don't need a visa. Just apply for the 240 transit at the Beijing airport with your cruise ticket to South Korea.

Just to clarify will I still qualify for 240hr visa as I will be re-entering China on the 28th April to catch a flight on the same day back to the UK.

Yes, another 240h visa free transit with the flight ticket to UK.
