About:China Visa on Arrival

Zhuhai Visa on Arrival

Hi, we are Indonesian citizens planning to visit Zhuhai under the Visa on Arrival scheme via Hengqin port. One thing that I am unsure of: when does the duration (3 days) counting starts? Is it on the day of arrival, or on the next day after arrival? Thank you for the assistance.

You can definitely use Hengqin border crossing and the validity of Zhuhai 3 day visa starts on the day after the day of your arrival. In other words, if you enter Zhuhai on November 26, this day is not counted against your 3 available day, but this day is considered as day 0. So, your first day is November 27 starting from 00:01. This means that you can stay until November 29 (November 29 included) until 23:59 when you have to exit Zhuhai in direction to Macau or Hong Kong. In reality, if you enter Zhuhai in the morning hours, you have practically almost 4 days available to enjoy your time in Zhuhai. Have a nice visit to Zhuhai.
