About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

240 hour visa free qualification

I am travelling from UK to Dubai. Staying there for several days then flying to Chengdu for 9 days to watch World Games. I then return from Chengdu to Uk. Is this allowed under the 240 hour visa scheme? Thanks.

Well, it depends whether your itinerary will be Dubai - mainland China - UK or Dubai - mainland China - Dubai. The first is eligible, the second is not.
