About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

What prescription and non-prescription drugs are not allowed into China?

My wife and I will arrive in Hong Kong on April 30, 205 and depart on a Viking cruise on 5/2/2025. My wife has dermatomyositis and takes mycophenolic acid, hydroxychloroquine, and prednisone for disease control. She's also had an auto accident has has a fused neck from C2-C7 and takes gabapentin at bedtime for neuropathy and also intermittently requires hydrocodone/acetaminophen and diazepam for pain control. She is also on tirzepatide for weight loss. Are any of these drugs not allowed into China? Thank you. Charles J. Foulks, M.D., Belton, TX.

Normally, you can take drugs only for personal use as long as you have prescriptions.
