Taking non prescription medicine to China

A friend has asked if we can bring her 4 packets of Panadol Rapid when we visit China next week. Are there restrictions on non prescription medicine being brought in.

Hi. That would be fine. I've been living in China for 4 years and on several occasions I've brought Panadol, Aspirin and other Western painkillers from Europe for personal use. There's no problem about it. I've always carried those in my hand luggage.
