About:Ferry of Shekou Port, Shenzhen

Shenzhen Shekou ferry to Hong Kong skypier airport

Hi. My flight from hong kong back to Malaysia will be 2:30pm. I am planning to travel from shenzhen shekou port by ferry straight to hong kong airport skypier. But I will check in my luggage (flight) when I reach the airport.
Looking at the timing, I am thinking to take the 10am ferry. I need to ask, how much time do I need to be there by? Do I need to arrive shekou port 2hrs earlier? Please advise. Thank you.

First you need to confirm that your airline is on the participating list for the ferry transfer. And for most airlines, the ferry departure should be at least 3 hours earlier than the flight departure.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I can see from your page here that my airline is on the participating list for ferry transfer.
As you have mentioned, ferry departure has to be 3hrs earlier than my flight departure.
My flight is going to be 2:30pm.
So I am alright to take the 10am ferry fr shekou to hong kong airport.
My first question was how much time do I need to be there at shekou port by if I am going to take 10am ferry? 1hr earlier? Thank you.

Yes, it's advised to arrive at the port 60 minutes before departure and you should purchase the ferry ticket at least 60 minutes in advance.
