About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover at China airport for 2 hours 35 minutes, do I need Transit visa?

I have a layover at shenzen airport, china for 2 hours 35 minutes. travelling from Dubai, final destination is Hanoi, airlines is china southern. I am a UAE resident and also have a valid US tourist visa(if that helps in any case). Could you please clear out the confusion, do I need a transit visa or no?

No, you do not need any visa as Dubai - Shenzhen - Hanoi is qualified for 24h visa free transit. Enjoy your trip~

Vijay, you definitely do not need any kind of visa. Since you have relatively short layover and it seems that you have your entire journey under the same booking (single ticket), you will just walk from one to the other gate and you will not perform any kind of formality and you do not need to fill out any forms or cards. You will just cross a security check between the two gates and you will not be a subject to immigration or customs control. Have a nice journey.
