Luggage for high speed train from Guangzhou to Hong Kong

Hi. I am travelling from Guangzhou to Hong Kong via high speed train. My luggage size is 158cm (Length + width + height).
Am I able to carry onto the train?
If not, can i checked in the my luggage?
For check-in luggage, when I will receive my luggage and how do I retrieve my luggage?
And is the train a non-stop train from Guangzhou to Hong Kong.

Yes, you can carry it onto the train. If you check it in, possibly it will be on the same train with you, so you can get it upon arrival. Note that you need to arrive at the train station at least 2 hours before the departure. The train may stop in cities like Dongguan, Shenzhen for only a few minutes.
