About:Exhibition of Decorations and Artwork

240 Hour Visa Free pass in Shanghai

If I fly from Bangkok to Shanghai and stay 6 days then fly from Shanghai to Ottawa Canada with a plane change in Taiwan - does this itinerary meet the requirements of the program

Or is it best to do the following
Bangkok to Shanghai and stay 6 days then fly from Shanghai to Hong Kong (stay 4 days) and then fly to Canada (Canadian Passport Holder)

Both the two itinerary you mentioned are eligible for the 10-day visa free transit. Taiwan and HK are both considered the third country or region.
