About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Train from HK to Hanoi

Hello. British passport holder here, we want to take the train from West Kowloon HK to Hanoi. This goes via Nanning I believe, would we be allowed to apply for a 24hr visa and ensure train tickets are for within the 24hr period? We would not be stopping in China or wanting to visit anywhere else. Any help appreciated. Thank you

How will you travel from Nanning to Hanoi. AS I know, you need an international ticket to leave for Hanoi as a proof to get the 24h visa free transit, and you will need to get a 24h temporary entry permit at West Kowloon to take trains in Mainland China within 24 hours and I'm not sure whether West Kowloon Railway Port can issue it as I haven't seen similar cases.
