About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Leave China Mainland from Guangzhou to Macau through Zhuhai?

Hi! I plan with some friends to use the extended 240 h arriving from Bejing and traveling around by trains along permited provinces and municipalities, the last steps would be taking train from Guilin to Guangzhou and the 9th/10th day take train from there to Zhuhai, it would be any problem crossing out from Zhuhai Railway Station to Macau? What we should show border officers, just the railway ticket from Guangzhou? How long usually takes that border crossing point?

Extra question... maybe its obvious but wanna double check: it is possible to use those train routes that in any part cross non eligible area to reach destination in one that it is? EX. train from Xi'an (A) to Chengdu (B) cross Guangyang & Mianyang - meaning that train it would be a problem, even if no doing stop out of it in those?; other example: I understand that one small portion of train route from Chengdu to Guilin pass through Zhaotong, Yunnan Province, which is no eligible - meaning that train would be also no posible to take, but through Chongqing to cross just Guizhou Province?
Thanks in advance:)

I'm afraid the train ticket to Zhuhai does not work as it's not a cross border train, so it's advised to take Zhuhai - Macau ferry and provide the ferry ticket as a proof. It usually takes 30min to go through the border checks.
You can use train routes crossing non eligible areas as long as your destinations are eligible ones. The examples you mentioned is okay.
