Travel visa to China

I have Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card and would like to obtain a travel visa to China. Can I make an appointment online to get the visa processed?

Apply China visa in HK? I'm afraid you need to go to the visa center and appointment is not needed. BTW you can apply for a Mainland Travel Permits for non-Chinese with your permanent HK ID and need to make an appointment on ctshk.com. The permits allow you stay in Mainland China for 90 days.
