About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Overnight stop in Beijing from Osaka to London

I am due to arrive in Beijing at 16.25 on April 7th from Osaka and leave at 14.10 on April 8th for London. Both flights are with Air China. We’d like to stay over at the Ramada Hotel at the airport. Does this qualify for the 24 hour visa free transit and do we need to apply for a temporary entry permit? If so what do we have to do?

Upon your landing in Beijing, the very first thing that you will do will be to approach 24/240 hour visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit by presenting your flight tickets and your hotel booking. This application is free from any charge. After a short check, you will be granted a permit and then you will head to the immigration and finally to the city to enjoy your time on your own.
