About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Traveling from US to Shanghai to South Korea

we are taking a trip from the US to Disney/Shanghai (3-4 days) and then continue to Seoul, South Korea - will we need anything other than a 144hour VISA?

Actually, it is 144 hour visa free transit, so there is no visa of any kind at all :)

It is important to emphasize that your itinerary:

US - Shanghai - Seoul

Is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in wider Shanghai area and you really do not need any kind of visa. It is just important to emphasize that your flight from US to Shanghai is not allowed to have any kind of landing within South Korea immediately before Shanghai. Also, Shanghai can be your only mainland Chinese stop between the two countries (US and South Korea) or in other words, you cannot have two mainland Chinese stops in a row under 144 hour visa free transit scheme. Have a nice stay in Shanghai.
