About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shenzhen Bao'an Internation Airport 5hr-layover

Hi. I am Filipino citizen who has a flight from Japan to the Philippines. I have a 5hr-layover at Shenzhen Bao'an Airport. Based on the information above, I am eligible for the 24-hr TWOV. I just want to confirm because in my ticket, it says that I need a transit visa.

Joshua, you really do not need any kind of visa. Shenzhen airport is eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you can proceed with your travel plan visa free and with the absolute peace of mind.

In reality, when you land in Shenzhen, you will just walk from one to the other gate and you will not be a subject of immigration and customs control. Also, you do not need to perform any formality or to fill out any forms. The only thing you will encounter will be a security check between the two gates.
