Probability of the VOA being accepted

Hi, I'm Indonesian passport holder planning to visit Hong Kong, Macau, and Shenzhen. Initially I'm planning to enter Shenzhen from Hong Kong via Lo Wu, but I heard that a lot of VOA application got rejected there, so I changed my itinerary to enter Shenzhen from Macau via Shekou since I heard that the VOA application there is easier (Idk the real situation there), but I'm still worried of my VOA being rejected, I never go to China before. Is there any chance for my VOA application being accepted?

The truth is that the applications of Indonesian citizens are recently approved/accepted in higher percentage compared to previous time, so my opinion is that your chances are really very good. It is true, they are not 100%, but are good enough to decide to make an application without any doubt. Please, have in mind that the price of Shenzhen visa on arrival is 130 CNY and is supposed to be paid by your credit card.

Your intention to reach Shenzhen from Macau (Shekou port) is a very good one, but you should have in mind that you have to arrive in the time frame of Shekou visa office opening hours: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30. Also, you should have in mind that you have to take a direct ferry from Macau to Shekou. I am more than certain that your application will be approved/accepted. Just proceed with your travel plans and I wish you the best of luck.
