About:Do I Need A Visa for Guangzhou If Traveling from Hong Kong?

Canadian visiting Guangzhou

We are Canadian going to visit HK. How can we make use of 144-hours visa free to visit Guangzhou and its vicinity? Would the process be simpler if I ask your company to arrange a private tour for the visa free visit? Thanks.

You can plan your flight route like HK - GZ - the third country or region except for HK and Mainland China to take advantage of the 144. The 144 is pretty simple to apply for as long as you have a return ticket within 144 hours and hotel reservation.

According to the description, one can leave via any port, not necessarily airport, to region C. If my C is Macau, and I want to leave via a crossing to Macau, what is the required proof of reservation going to Macau?

Many port are available to leave Guangdong under the 144 policy but not any port, check the available port for leaving on this page: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/guangdong/144hours-visa-free.htm
To apply for the 144, the ticket (flight, bus, ferry or train ticket) to leave GZ via the available ports.
