About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Traveling to China to marry my Chinese boyfriend

I am planning on going to China to marry my Chinese boyfriend and to live in China. Do I still need a round-trip ticket or not? Do I need to apply for the tourist visa?

As you are not married to Chinese yet, you may only able to get a tourist visa. After entering China and getting married, you may change it to a Family Reunion (Q) visa at local entry and exit administration office.
