About:Chengdu Tianfu International Airport

Request for informaiton - 19 hours layover

I am travelling from Nepal to a third country via China (Chengdu Tianfu Airport). On the 11th I will reach Chengdu Tianfu Airport - terminal 1 at 5 PM local time and next flight is on 12th September at 12.40 PM. Almost 19 hours layover.
I will stay at Holiday Inn express Chendu.
Do I need the transit VISA? or for 24 hours I am allowed to check out and check in without a visa?

You don't need a transit visa as you are eligible for the 24 hours visa free transit and you can leave the airport after getting a 24-hour visa free entry permit at the border counter.
