Michal, I understand you and it will not be easy to obtain an invitation letter. Invitation letter is usually sent to friends and family members as a support document during visa obtaining process. Lately, it is relatively rare to see that some tourist entity will offer an invitation letter, but that nevertheless happens. I invite you to send your inquiry to several serious Chinese tour operators, but not like this through forum, but on their emails where will you precisely inform them about several important details like your planned dates of arrival and departure from China, your interests, accommodation types and similar. In the majority of cases hotel bookings though agency would be fine or hotel bookings along with a couple of day or multiday tours. In other words, you should start now, but in the way as I have recommended, to contact Chinese tour operators through their emails where you will present your serious and precise requests and also show your willingness to offer to tour operator an opportunity to have some benefit from sending you a visa support, invitation letter.
