About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Hello, I am planning flight from London to Chongqing and I have a transfer connection flight in Beijing(PEK), arrival and departure is on same Terminal (3) and both flights are same airline (China Air), do I need to go through all checks, border control etc and also pick up my checked luggage or is the transfer going around it?
