About:Chengdu Tianfu International Airport

Self transfer

I am flying to London with a 9-hour layover at Chengdu. My ticket says self transfer. Do I need to exit the airport and need visa? Both flights are AirChina and in TFU airport.

You don't need to exit the airport and don't need a visa because you are eligible for 24-hour visa-free transit.
