Request for Travel Visa

My travel agent is compiling my Visa form. I have been informed once they submit the form via a mail to the Chinese Visa office in Manchester I can then attend the Visa Office in Manchester to obtain my approved Visa. I shall attend 10 days after my application has been submitted by Travel Agent via email. Would you inform this arrangement is acceptable
