What do I fill for validity of visa (months) and Maximum duration of longest stay (days) for an X1 visa.

You can fill in according to your study duration in China. Normally the validity of a X1 visa is 30 days with single entry and duration of stay may be one year. The final validity and duration the consular office gives you may be different from that you applied but usually will satisfy your needs.
