About:International Trains from/to China

Trip from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar

I am planning to go from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar this August. I don't want to take a flight.
Does anyone know if K3 and K23 will be resumed by that time?
What are the other options by train?

It's hard to say. You can take a train from Beijing to Hohhot, then transfer to a Hohhot to Ulaanbaatar train, which departs on every Monday and Friday.
