traveling with minors

Hi! I'm traveling with minor children (ages 8 and 11) without my spouse. Is there any documentation that I will need from my spouse?

You may need a declaration of consent for the application of Chinese visa and authorization to the other parent to travel with the minor to China authenticated by USA government when applying for China visa.
