About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Shenzhen Visa On Arrival

We are Australian and we would like to know :

1. If Visa On Arrival is available in Shenzhen for Australian?
2. How many days will the Visa On Arrival valid for?
3. Can we then travel to Guangzhou?
4. What is the cost?

1. Yes. You can apply for it but it's not guaranteed you can finally get one.
2. 5 days.
3. With Shenzhen VOA, you can only stay in Shenzhen, to Guangzhou, you will need a regular China visa applied before entry.
4. It costs CNY130 for a tourist type.

Thank you for your kind reply. Just announced by the Chinese Premier that Australian will be granted 15 days free Chinese Visa ( still not known the starting date ).
