About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

I am hong kong residence and now im in pakistan

I am hong Kong permanent resident I entered China illegally in 2017 and stayed there for eight to ten days without a visa. After being arrested and detained for four to five months, I was deported to Pakistan instead back to Hong Kong and since 2016 i didnt been back to Hong Kong . Now, in 2024, I want to reapply for a Chinese visa as a Pakistani tourist, but will they deny my visit visa one for overstaying in China before?

I can see the regulations that if you were deported, then you are not allowed to enter China within 1-5 years. Now It has been 7 years, it's possible for you to get a visa, but still not guaranteed. .
