About:Simatai Great Wall

Jinshanling + Simatai at night in one day form beijing

Is it possible to visit Jinshanling from beijing to do a daytime hike and afterwards going to simatai for a night hike in one day?
Is it even possible do go back to beijing at that day or do I have to/should stay in gubei water town over night?

How to get from jinshanling to simatai and is it possible to buy the night ticket in advance without chinese telephone number?

It is possible but the schedule is quite busy. I'm afraid you cannot go back to Beijing after visiting Simatai and you need to stay one night at the water town.
To finish the busy schedule, you need to take subway to Dongzhimen, then take bus no. 942 (pay aftering getting on) to Jinshanling and after the visit, take a taxi to Gubei Water town and visit Simatai there. You can book the tickets of Gubei Water Town and Simatai ovia TravelChinaGuide.
