Gubei Water Town + Simatai ticket Doubt

Hello,
I wish to visit Simatai great wall before Gubei Water town, but I see that the check-in to Gubei water town is only until 14:30, the question is, can I entry to Gubei Water town later than 14:30 if I finish the visit to simatai at 16:00 for example?

You can check in at the water town first before 14:30 and then go to visit the great wall. After that, go back to the town.

Hello, I was planning to go Jinshanling in the morning and then head to Gubei Water Town to stay the night and for the night tour but I'm not sure if I'll make it before 2:30pm. Does this mean, even if I have a hotel booked within the water town, I have to check in before 2:30pm. Even with a hotel reservation I won't be allowed in after 2:30pm. I'm confused and thank you in advance for your guidance. Also do you know if there is a transportation option from Jinshanling to Gubei Water Town. If not, how would I get there and potential cost, planning to get there around 24 or 25 May for 1 night
