About:Jinshanling Great Wall

Options to reach Jinshanling Great Wall with public transport

Hello. Thanks for the great article. I am attempting to reach Jinshanling tomorrow morning. I was given this bus itinerary, which is different from the one you posted (see below). Which one is better for a week day? Thanks!

- Beijing -> Miyun: Bus 980
- Miyun -> Gubiekou: Bus 25
- Gubeikou -> Jinshaling: Taxi

The route works on weekdays. But note that Miyun - Gubeikou bus no. is Mi 25 (密25), not simple bus 25.

Many thanks Marcy. I went today and I followed the route via Luanping. Just one note: at the Laiguangying Station, the correct exit is "D", not "A" as stated in the article. Exit A takes you to where the bus ends (coming from Luanping). You need to get out of exit "D", then backtrack 50 meters and turn the corner. The buses 858 are parked there and will leave when full.
