Train from Ulaanbaatar to Beijin in August 2024

Hello, I am planning to take the train from Ulaanbaatar to Beijin in August 2024. Will the train service be active? Why is it cancelled right now? Thank you very much!

It hasn't resumed yet. But it's expected to be in service in 2024. It is cancelled due to the pandemic. Now, only those from Ulaanbaatar to Erlian and Hohhot in China have been resumed.

You can only buy the ticket at Ulaanbataar Railway Station with your passport. There should be reports when the K23 is resumed.
