How about Polish citizens? How long does it take to get the VOA at the port?

Polish citizens are definitely eligible for Shenzhen 5 days visa on arrival. The price of the visa is 275 CNY.
Two usually used ports are:
- Lo Wu (Luohu) - easy to reach by suburban train from the center of Hong Kong, but the queues could be very long and waiting time can be even up to several hours. If you decide to go to Lo Wu (Luohu), at least arrive well before the opening of the visa office that opens at 09:00.
- Shekou - the best option. The most convenient is to take the first morning ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou in Shenzhen and then to obtain a visa at Shekou visa office. Waiting time and the processing will not take more than an hour. It could be longer in some cases, but usually not longer than an hour.0
