About:How to Buy Ticket Online

I booked train tickets, what do I need to do now?

I am used to etickets, but did not receive any confirmation that I actually have a ticket. Just the receipt as proof that I paid. I read that there is no need for a paper ticket, but I expected a QR code (or anything in a digital form). How does it work? What do I need to do at the train station? I need to know when and where my train (e.g. G7, from Beijing South/ to Shanghai Hongqiao) departs, for example the address of the station (that I could show to others), and the track?

Where did you buy the ticket? If you buy with TravelChinaGuide, then they will send you an email including all the information you need: train no., departure station, arrival station, seat class, boarding platform... After arriving at the departure station, just show your passport to the staff to enter and then get onboard the train and you are right no paper ticket is needed any more.
