Chinese Embassy in the U.S. announced that Americans holding China 10-year visa issued before March 28, 2020 which became invalid because of the pandemic, may choose whether to apply for compensation after the expiration of their visas or a three-year multi-entry visa can be applied free of charge in compensation. So if your 10-year visa was issued before March 28, 2020, you can apply for a 3-year multi-entry visa freely.0
