Can I do a day trip to Shenzhen from Hong Kong via train on Uk passport? I’m flying Singapore to Hk

No, you cannot as you are not eligible for the 72-hour visa-free transit. This is only a return trip. However, you can obtain a 5-day Shenzhen visa on arrival at Luohu Port by subway. It takes CNY 834 for UK passport holders.
