Can I change my visa type during visit to China?

If I want to take a language course or attend the 2 year college or university during my visit with 10 yr tourist visa, what should I do?

Generally, you should re-apply for a student visa in the USA. Anyway, it is better to confirm with China embassy or local entry and exit administration bureau.
